Matt has worked as a physiotherapist in the NHS based at Dorchester County Hospital, Weymouth Community Hospital and within local GP Practices since qualifying from the University Of Wales College Of Medicine with a first class honours degree in 2004. He also has a degree in Sports Science from Nottingham Trent University and began his career as a fitness centre manager and personal trainer for a large UK based company. Matt subsequently qualified as a lecturer in post-16 education from The University of Plymouth and lectured Anatomy, Exercise Physiology and Biomechanics. Matt has achieved sporting honours in Rowing and has played and coached a number of sports at a competitive level. He is a member of the Chartered Society of Physiotherapy and registered with the Health Professions Council. |
